The Moderator and the Viewers must have one of these browsers. If you are taking viewers to web pages that are not on the same domain (eg. www.astound.com goes to www.yahoo.com) you may have to manually enter the URL into the goto URL dialog when using Internet Explorer. In this case you cannot click on a link in the browser and have the viewer follow along. In Internet Explorer you can right mouse click on the link and select copy, then you can paste the URL into the goto URL dialog. This is not required under Netscape Navigator 4.0. When Moderating a conference, you may notice that the user interface is not exactly as it appears in the manual. The new look is functionally equivalent and the help provided in the manual is still accurate with respect to using this feature. Sets ==== Astound 5.0 has a new feature called "Sets" that is not covered in the manual. Sets are an authoring-time only feature that allows you to group objects together such that their visibility can be easily changed. This means that without altering the look of your slide for playback, you can show or hide groups of objects to reduce clutter on the slide, and make object selection easier. Select View/Set Manager to view the Set Manager. In this window you can select the current Set. Any object added to the slide will be added to the current set. An object's set can be changed in the Quickset window (View/Quickset) on the Misc. tab. The Set Manager contains a checkbox for each set, which control its visibility. Dynamic HTML ============ When using JavaScript to control the web page (the default in the Distribution Wizard) the only transitions available are: cover, uncover, and wipe. For more transitions use Java to control the web pages.
